DBT – Dialectical Behavior Therapy Support Group

This group is now offered via ZOOM.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy is used to help individuals validate their present set of circumstances and encourage them to change poor coping skills and make lasting positive changes to their lives. DBT helps in treating individuals with borderline personality disorder or traits, treatment-resistant depression as well as eating disorders. A referral is required to be accepted into this group and individuals are screened to determine if they are therapy ready.
This group is run twice a year, in the spring and in the fall/winter. Sessions are held Thursdays with one group running from 9-11 am, and another running from 1-3 pm.

If you require a referral form or would like more information, please contact Michelle at Addiction & Mental Health, 403-529-3500.
