The Mustard Seed is a Christian non-profit organization that has been caring for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty since 1984. Operating in five cities across Alberta and British Columbia, The Mustard Seed is a supportive haven where people can have their physical, mental, and spiritual needs met and grow toward greater health and independence. The Mustard Seed Community Impact Centre in Medicine Hat offers a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of its community members:

Our Wellness Centre staff work with agencies across Medicine Hat to provide advocacy, identification, document storage, access to medical care, and counselling. Advocates connect with guests to provide system navigation and assistance when applying for programs such as Alberta Supports, AISH, etc., in addition to providing general information, support, and guidance.
Health & Wellness is located downstairs in the Community Impact Centre, and is open Monday – Friday, 9am-12pm, & 1pm-4pm, with opportunities for both drop-in and appointment. Referrals found online at theseed.ca
