Saamis Immigration Services Association (SISA) includes ongoing programs and services that assist in the resettlement and integration of newly arrived immigrants and refugees.
SISA has a language bank that consists of 65 languages. Interpretation services are in place to support SISA’s clients, but SISA also extends this service to the community. Upon a request from a service provider of 2 – 3 business days prior, SISA can refer service providers to an interpreter/translator if available. SISA’s responsibility is to connect the two parties; the charges for such services are solely between the service provider’s agreement with the interpreter/translator.
