The Mental Health Outreach Depot Clinic provides long-acting medication administration via injection and medication and mental health monitoring for clients with a mental illness. They also assist clients with mental illness to improve and or maintain their well-being through consistent administration of long-acting medications via injection.
Staff members:
- assess the individual’s mental health
- monitor effect and side effects of medication
- monitor compliance
- collaborate with the client and their psychiatrist/physician and provide education
The community support team assists by transporting clients who would have difficulty getting to the clinic.
