Door-to-door wheelchair accessible service for seniors and people with disabilities. All persons utilizing the Handibus must complete an application form.
The service operates within the city limits and focuses on seniors and those with cognitive and physical disabilities as well as anyone in the community that will require the service with short term disabilities. The cost to utilize the Handibus Specialized Transit Service is $4 per one-way trip.
For those wanting to utilize the service, it is preferred, when possible, to call 72 hours prior to scheduling a pick up. For more information about the Handibus or to utilize the service, please call 403-362-6190.
Completed applications can be emailed to apeterson@brooks.ca, dropped off at City Hall or faxed to 403-362-4787. It is important to have the medical portion of the application completed prior to submission.
